Description

In 1773 the municipality of Sart had the honor of being the first on the European continent to have public horse races. In 1787 the race track was expanded. The landscape was perfect for a race track and had beautiful views. It was considered one of the most beautiful race tracks in (continental) Europe. The race track operated until May 1914. Nowadays, the race track is replaced by an 18-hole golf course.
