The RAVeL consists of more than 1350km of trails for pedestrians, cyclists, horseback riders and people with reduced mobility! It is a comfortable and secure network of mainly old railway lines. Locally it represents more than 45 trails. These trails are linked to 9 regional trails and 4 international trails in Wallonia. You can safely bike via the RAVeL (rail bike trail) through cities, nature and local areas. The route of line 44 starts at Sart–Station and gently climbs to the village Hockai and then to Francorchamps. From Francorchamps the trail continues to Stavelot and you will pass by the famous hill “Haute Levée” towards line 45.
Practical info: Starting point: Rue Sart–Station, along the N640–connection to the RAVeL line 45, close to the N622 in Stavelot.
